Quantum Babylon - Exhibition

Quantum Babylon - Exhibition
€0.00

For Berlin Science Week 2025, Roman Lipski opens his new studio in Kreuzberg with Quantum Babylon — an immersive video installation and handwoven “Qarpets” inspired by quantum aesthetics.

At its core stands a video loop of a Babel tower built from quantum algorithms: endlessly rising, collapsing, and revealing hidden worlds within each falling stone. A metaphor for the ambition and fragility of human progress.

Visitors lie on soft Qarpets whose algorithmic patterns bridge the digital and the tactile, speculation and grounding. Outside, a monumental sculpture echoes the tower, stepping from the digital into physical space.

Quantum Babylon invites reflection: how can we shape our future with creativity, ethics, and imagination in the age of quantum computing?
